PROVENANCE
The work was commissioned by Central Compilation & Translation Bureau，to be used as the cover of Complete Works of Marx and Engels and Selections of Marx and Engels . Since the first release in 1956，the books have been re-published over 15，000，000 copies. The work has been collected by Central Compilation & Translation Bureau，Ministry of Culture of the PRC，National Art Museum，National Museum of China and Liu Kaiqu Memorial as their permanent collections.
