Sun Lixin is good at controlling works of revolutionary theme； he can easily deal with grand scene which has the effect of an epic poem. The Long March is a wide screen-like huge painting of revolution theme. All Chinese people will not be strange to the content of this painting. The picture intercepted a scene in red army’s Long March and represented the former revolutionaries’ optimistic spirit of being able to overcome any difficulties. The scene of the painting had being really existed in Long March， the inspiration of the artist obviously come from the famous poem of Mao Zedong， which was written by the great man after the red army overcome a big difficulty， the Minshan mountain. The focus of this painting is the leading group of the red army； we can find here that on each revolutionary's face， there is a kind of expression of self-confidence. The work has made in the visual language an illustration to the revolutionaries’ romanticism spirit with a realism processing mode.
