1950（23.2） R1（for North East） type New Year Greeting letter sheet from Anshan to Peking（25.2），left part of the indicia design omitted. This kind of letter sheet derived from the R1（for North East） bi-coloured letter sheet adding light red colour，and was issued in February 1950. The bi-coloured sheet was released on January 28，1950. Therefore，the New Year Greeting sheet should be issued during late February 1950. February 16，1950 was a New Year’s Eve，and February 23 was the 7th day of the first month of lunar new year，so the sheet should be used on the first day after vacation，and was proved to be the earliest example of use，bearing huge value of postal history.
