Kangxi Six-Characters Mark
The rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently everted rim，the exterior was exquisitely painted with sweet osmanthus of August in the wucai palette in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels. The interior and base dressed with a pale white glaze. The reverse inscribed with a ten-character poem in ‘kaishu’，and a seal mark，the base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character mark within double circles.
‘The branches are growing for months without end.
Once they are laden with blossoms，autumn has surely arrived.’
