Both were in the form of deep saucer shape, elegantly potted with rounded sides above a short foot, the exterior painted in blue tones with two landscape scenes. Each depicting a female deity, one holding a fan in hand and another offering a flowering sprig to a bird above on a swing. Each scene is accompanied by a two-line poem that refers to the scene depicted. The base was inscribed with a Jiajing six-character kaishu apocryphal mark.
