Qianlong Six-Character Mark
The tapering ovoid and short body rising to a sharp angle at a flattened shoulder that continues into the long neck below an everted mouth rim. It is finely molded and carved with archaistic patterns including a band of stylised dragon or phoenix and a band of pendent lappets. The whole vase is all covered inside and out with a glaze of rich celadon-green color thinning to a paler tone on the raised areas. The base is similarly glazed and inscribed with underglazed-blue regin mark.
