Qianlong Six-Character Mark
Incised in the centre with a confronting five-clawed dragon medallion amongst stylized clouds encircling a flaming pearl,the underside with two similar dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls,each covered in a rich and even aubergine glaze. The base with an incised six-character mark of Qianlong within double rings and of the period,1736-1795.
