Beijing Poly 2011 Spring Auction fetched 6.13 Billion makes New Peak

7th June, Beijing Poly 2011 Spring Auction got a successful ending with total transaction of 6.13 billion, continuing to hold the championship of China arts auction and break the new world record.

This time, there are two pieces over RMB 100 million, and over 118 pieces reach RMB 10million.Zhi Chuan Moving to Mountain, A Collection of Guo Yun Lou transacted with  RMB 402.5 million, which second only to DIMINGZHU, becoming the second high price of Chinese classical paintings and calligraphy. Lion Woods of Wu Guanzhong made a deal with RMB 115 million, creating the new record of Chinese contemporary art and the personal works of Wu Guanzhong. Meanwhile, Qianlong Period, Qing Dynasty A magnificent imperial tribute ormolu, enamel and paste-set quarter striking automaton table clock got the new world record of China imperial clock with 78.2 million. In the selection of modern and contemporary art, the highest price was 62.1 million of album of paintings of grass and insects of Qi Baishi. Zhou Sicong¡¯s Workers and Dog created the new record of his own record with 17.25 million. Contemporary Chinese Works of Art , a Zi Sha made by Gu Jingzhou and Wei Zixi transacted with 10.35 million. The first scale of Jade and Jewel got the success, one piece reached  RMB 24.725 million. Antique cars  also got the good result.
