Poly Auction concluded with 3.8 billion in the first half 2013

    As the month of June comes to an end, followed by Hong Kong Poly¡¯s ¡°Hunan Embroidery & Ceremacis Sales¡±, all of Poly Auction¡¯s sales in the first half 2013 ended with great success. Beijing Poly together with Poly(HK)¡¯s total turnover reached a staggering 3.8 billion RMB. This year, from January to June, Beijing Poly held its 8th anniversary Spring Auction as well as the 21st and 22nd Fine Arts Sale, achieving a turnover of 3.24 billion RMB and at the same time strengthening its leading position in the market. Hong Kong Poly also showed great determination in advancing into the overseas market, holding the 2013 Spring Auction, 2013 Summer Fine Arts Auction and ¡°Xiangxiuxiangci Fine Arts Auction¡±, with a total turnover of 701 million HKD.

 

In the next 6 months from now, Beijing Poly will hold the 8th anniversary Autumn Auction, and for the first time Hong Kong Poly will also introduce the ¡°Chinese Arts Evening Sale¡±. Beijing Poly and Poly(HK) will in the months of June until August start a collection plan around the world in 18 countries, finding from all over the world perfect works of art for buyers. We hope that collectors from all part of the spectrum will support us considerately, and together enjoy this occasion.

Jun.6th evening witnessed a result of RMB 2.83 billion of total transaction in Beijing Poly 8th Anniversary Spring sales.
    Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period, a magnificent pair of ZITAN high-relief ¡°dragons and lotus¡± combine-cabinets was transacted at
93.15 million, and Tang Yin ¡°Song Ya Bie Ye¡± was sold at 71.3 million with premium included. A magnificent and exceptional massive Huanghuali-wood screen with finely carved birds and blossoms was auctioned at 39.10 million setting a benchmark in classical wood screen for display. Jin Shangyi¡¯s oil painting ¡°Kun Can¡± was sold at 39.10 million, a new record for Jin Shangyi's works.
